Hey girl.. you glow different when you love yourself!!

So go ahead a be proud of your age and the quirky fall boutique shirt you purchased! Go-ahead and dream big, cry when you need to and regroup and put your best foot forward! Go ahead and give yourself some leeway and mostly LOVE YOURSELF!! 🧡

Today, is one of those days that my husband said, “I think we are both just a little overwhelmed!” I was annoyed when he said it. Although, as the day progresses I realize that it’s most likely very true. We both carry a lot and honestly I think we do it well!

Today is a day we are muscling through! I have been diligently working on a insurance appeal in our middle son, Landon’s behalf. We had met our deductible for the year and the treatment was necessary! I officially faxed the last of what was needed to the Ks. Ins. Dept… I now am in the parking lot at Dillons.

I am finally doing what I set out to do on Thursdays.. WRITE FOR MY BLOG!! I am going to go ahead and sit here in the quiet and finish this entry!

I am here at Dillons to get a little something to go with the roast I have in our Pit Boss smoker and something nice for my husband, who I am annoyed at right now! I do feel he ultimately supports my goals. I was just pissed when I tried to reel him in to help me email a 400+ pg. attachment and he told me I should get ahold of Carly.. the sweet lil’ gal that helps me with all my wack-a-doo tech. questions. She has agreed to continue to help me on my blog site. Now all I have to do is get focused. Typing these words is going to hold me accountable! I have some lofty goals for the last few months of this year!! She did come to the rescue and help me save encrypted documents and get them forwarded to the right peeps today!!

Overall, I would say my prayers have been answered! I got the stuff I had truly given up on sent! When I received a call from Sarah at the Ks. Ins. Dept. on Tues morning and I actually answered, I got reinspired to push through because she encouraged me and informed me they had extended the deadline to submit paperwork. It’s so much headache to continually make calls, send emails and wait. Also having to have Landon’s signature on things because he’s officially an adult. Sidenote **He will always be a boy in my eyes!

I think my husband, John aka Johnny.. is feeling the after effects of having an EGD/endoscopy on Monday of this week. Not to mention, he’s been overdoing ever since! He insisted on working on our salon roof that needed some repairs the afternoon of the scope. He’s been really busy behind the chair.. doing hair AND rockin’ his new role as a real estate consultant!!👍 I have had a bit of extra time.. all going towards this ins. appeal. We also have some hard things we are facing that have unfolded in our circle, along with the challenging circumstances of the world we’re all living in!💔 I always remind myself of all the good. It could always be worse!

Nonetheless.. I am meeting my goals for the day/week and happy to say I am! I am one of those girls that is willing to work hard. I always say, “do what you can live with!”

I can live with spreading some love, even when I am overwhelmed! I sent a gift to my bro. in Chicago~ he’s in a new chapter in his life. I sent my dear girl, Allison a b-day gift and my nephew and my friend’s boy- who are both in military training a card. I want to be the girl that lights up someone’s day! I have lots of good people in my life and I know I manifest what happens to me!! Would you believe I have some more stuff to get rounded up and send to loved ones?! What can I say?..Words of Affirmation and Gifts are my top two love languages. By the way I highly recommend everyone learns their love language.. it can be life changing!

Best foot forward. If I can do it.. you can too! Glow different! Love yourself!.. even after shedding a few tears on a stressful day. Put on your favorite shades and take a selfie! Love yourself in the now! Remind yourself where you’ve been and where you’re headed!
