Are you a mom?!

Are you a mom that wants to be your best? .. often times running on coffee cause you might not have gotten quite enough rest? 😉Me too!

I am here to tell you that it’s possible to be the best version of you! I have been a mom for twenty-one years.. who knew?

I am happy to share that I by no means believe I am perfect .. I am human and raising kids! I also am happy to share that I feel I’ve done a lot right!

I think it’s so important to be an example to our families! It’s our job to admit faults, do our best and forget the rest.. teaching them how to live happily .

It’s never too late to shift gears. Even if you haven’t been your best for years!

We are all a work-in-progress.. we have to work to reduce stress.

However you approach life is up to you! With conviction I will say, choosing happiness will never dismiss you!

Yes, it’s a fast-paced world that will just pass us by.. especially if we don’t even try.

We are all entitled to an “off day”.. then, we have to muster up the courage and energy to tell ourselves, “I am not gonna continue to live this way!”

I myself, have been in lots of traumatic events in my life. I am finally in a position to share without tears in my eyes!

I am a survivor of a life altering car wreck, an adult child of an addict, have gone through a near-death experience.. as well as seeing immediate family members go through it too, was a teen mom and have struggled financially! .. From all of these events I have learned substantially!

First and foremost, I have learned the very person that makes you hurt the most is usually always hurting themself! I can say with a lot of conviction that I am proud to be who I am and am not embarrassed to share. I just want others going through hard circumstances to know that I care!

It is important to me to be relatable and share some love. I am lucky girl and am married to my high school sweetheart/best friend .. I know that’s the work of the man up above!

Statistically speaking we’ve beat a lot of odds and have worked hard to get where we are. We still are and plan to continue to grow and go far.

Pursuing your dreams is always valuable! We only regret what we don’t try and that’s undeniable!

Aside from parenting, my husband, John and I are hairdressers and owners (for twenty years) of our self-developed salon. It’s crazy to think we’ve been in the industry for so long.. where has time gone?

We recently decided to pursue some of our other dreams. For me.. it’s becoming a public figure who encourages others. He’s now a realtor! Achieving these goals makes my heart flutter!

Being a mom has become my favorite title. Even when it’s hard and I feel like I am going in spirals!

Being a mom can be hard, feeling like there isn’t always reward. We got an advanced glance at how good it can actually be~ when we fostered two teen girls.. they have expressed their gratitude as we fast forward!

What I am getting at, is that most all good things take time! We can’t expect the best results if we cut in line!

I want to encourage you to find time for you.. even if it’s just a walk around the block. I haven’t always been the best at self-care~ now I realize how important it is to make time.. to stop.

Stop overdoing it and leaving nothing else to give. If you’re like me, you know what a challenge this is!

Even if it’s picking wild flowers .. if buying them isn’t in your budget. Whatever it is ~ let it be an experience for yourself that you won’t forget!

Self love shows.. you find your confidence, you will see yourself and others will see you in a better light. Trust me.. it’s only right!

We need to show ourselves love and grace just like we would anyone else! We should be kind to ourselves, for me it’s equally important to pray and give it up to the man upstairs!

The power of prayer has become my mantra! If you don’t already pray~ I dare ya!

Wether you are a teen mom.. growing up with your kids or a more mature mom.. the feelings are often the same. We just want to be appreciated, do it well and earn our name!❤️

Mom isn’t a word to feel inferior about! We are all women working to raise children.. we are all earning our clout!

One day at a a time.. honestly, one moment at a time we are wearing many titles! It’s sorta like constantly preparing for a recital!

If I raise self-sufficient kids that learn how to be happy I will feel I have accomplished my biggest job! We need to choose our battles carefully.. steer clear of mom guilt and mom fog!

We can be good without seeing our best! We can go through seasons and chapters. It’s best if we can do it with a light heart and find some laughter!

Shoot.. I recently bought myself flowers! I have decided that being a mom is my super power!

I am going to be transparent and share the ups and downs and all arounds~ even when I am in my sweats with smudgy eye makeup from the day before. Come on .. get onboard. I ask you to implore!

Live your best life, find time for a hobby.. extract happiness form the common!

I have taken up vlogging, blogging, writing… believing someday I I will be well-known. I am looking for a community of people who are continually showing love and growing.

If you want to be on this journey with me or know someone else who would.. please invite them to follow me, if you could!!

Thank you in advance for all the good juju! Sharing is caring and please know being a mom.. isn’t just kissing booboos!

Being a mom is brave! No matter our approach- we are warriors, I must say!

Stay Rosy, Amber 🤟💕
