While having a conversation with my last client yesterday.. a dear, sweet twenty-some year old, it came up in conversation that we can change at any point in life! On the drive home I was thinking about the relationships/friendships I’ve built with my clients during my 20+ years of being a hairdresser (I often refer to them as my peeps😉) and it occurred to me that these relationships have improved as I have learned to love myself more!

I have always been the girl that cares greatly what others think and how they feel. In the past few years I have worked a lot more inwardly. In doing so, I realized that there is clearly improvement in how I process life.. in addition to allowing me to interact with others as the best version of myself. This allows others to be comfortable to share more.

I have clearly seen others go through the ins and outs of life. I can always find the best in others! The message I want to hammer home today is, get out of your own way! It’s necessary to love yourself the way you love others! Most likely whatever goal you are pursuing is a matter of you believing you can. You are the one you’re waiting for. We tell ourselves all kinds of scenarios. The only dialogue you need to believe is the one that you are able, capable and on the way to your best life!
