Determination looks a lot like not taking “No” for an answer! I took today away from working at our salon to paint at our guest house~ that we are excited to list as an Airbnb soon.

I know my partner sometimes struggles with the order I choose to do things. Today, I told him I was going to purchase the light fixture for the living room at the guest house. To say the least.. he didn’t like that idea. So I decided to use my stash of cash to buy it! 😉

Honestly, for me, design takes inspiration and the light fixture helps me to see the transformation start to take place!!

Anyhoo.. I would say Johnny and I balance each other pretty well! He is diligently working on entering numbers and getting stuff done to have our taxes filed. Not knowing exactly how much we have to pay in is sorta nerve-racking. Although, I know we’ve got this! One day at a time.. one foot in front of the other!

In the end, my determination will always be stronger than any doubts I may have!!
