I got it from my momma.. to find your passion and go for it! She instilled to never take no for an answer to something your heart desires! Dreamers live forever and doers die in a day!
Make peace with your past. Be courageous! Love others and take time for them! If there is a will.. there is a way! Laughter is the key to a happy life!
Thank God for dirty dishes, they have a tale to tell… they mean you’re doing well!
Compassion is the single most important characteristic in a person.
Honestly, I never met anyone like my mom.. who can literally make something from almost nothing! Being creative is art! .. and my goodness, life would be boring without art!
A year ago (in the early morning hours on Easter Sunday) my mom, Theresa was life-watched after having an aortic dissection/aneurysm, a tear in the inner layer of the large blood vessel branching off the heart. She still has a lot of challenges in her future. She can’t lift over twenty pounds or drive. She is working towards getting into Mayo Clinic. Although, she has a new take on life and is living her life to the fullest. It truly seems as though she’s been reborn!
I have been blessed to have more time with my mom!! She is in the best mind frame and is full of zest and the Holy Spirit! How fitting that I was able to pick her up just before Easter Sunday and have a week with her! She has been here working on a mural at our guest house.. that we are soon to list as an Airbnb. I couldn’t have pulled off such a fun, unique, yet eloquent space and experience for our guests without my mom’s expertise!! She’s resourceful, thrifty, and savvy!!
I quickly jotted down the things that come to mind when I think of my mom! In closing, I know she believes in the power of prayer! I got it from my momma, PRAY, FIND YOUR PASSION, BE COURAGEOUS, BE SPONTANEOUS, BE COMPASSIONATE and LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE!!
Stay Rosy, Amber ❤️🤟
