When the day is long and you want to quit! Remember why you started and use your grit!

If you’re proving you can, beating defeat, and loving your family is your biggest reason .. like mine!! Give it your all and know in your heart- it’s all gonna be fine!!❤️

At 4am my internal alarm decided it was time to wake up. Today, I seriously was wondering if giving my all was gonna be enough.

Before sun up I headed to our guesthouse to get it nice and clean. It’s my latest endeavor~ having an Airbnb!

I believe that art in the form of hair, interior design, hosting and words are my strengths. I am the girl that is happy for every day~ no matter it’s length!

Next up, was a good-busy day.. working behind the chair at our salon. Thursday evenings are the one day you won’t find me at work late- nope, I am gone!

So it was a shorter salon day with two specialty hair colors, three haircuts, and a waxing service.. with all the best finishes. I am determined that the quality of my work never diminishes! .. At Thiessen-Elise Salon it’s only complete with a shoulder rub and complimentary beverage.😘

After work was a trip up Wally World.. (not usually my regular).. although I love that it’s a one-stop kinda place! I purchased things that make my heart happy.. like peanut butter kisses & candy corn, soft jammies, and Christmas decor and some goodies on clearance- I am sure the joy was obvious on my face!! 😉

Yes, I am the girl that came home and immediately put on slippers and my new Night Before Christmas jams. Making beef and noodles.. aka.. comfort food was my only other plan.

I am happy and content, even when I recently realized my hubby and I are busier as empty nesters. We both are excited to have more than one hustle! 💥

Of course, I carved out time to write for my weekly blog!! .. even if I feel like my brain is fuzzy and in a bit of fog😜

Remember why you started and do what your heart says!!

At the end of the day, have no regrets. Afterall, it is said we haven’t lived our best days yet!! 🤍🤟
