To be great is to be mis-understood

Your moves will be misunderstood by those not meant to be on your journey. You have to be willing to be misunderstood if you are going to innovate.

One of my favorite quotes is from Mother Teresa, “if you want to change the world go home and love your family.”

Loving life starts with loving yourself. Find the good.. Focus on the good and FLOURISH!

Believing we can be happy and we deserve to be happy is a big part of finding happiness. For me, it is leading by example. Working hard for what we want makes it worth it when we achieve our goals! I have always told our kids that our work has our name all over it~ so we better do our best!

I come from a humble background. I still found the good and knew and believe my parents were doing the best they could.

I am an open book, which has caused people to misunderstand me. I truly believe that sharing my journey has helped me to know I am doing things the way my heart leads me. I love to have a collection of memories to look back at. I also love to love big.

Being an advocate for the underdog, those struggling with mental health and addiction and young parents has become who I am. I never intend to outshine others. I want to collaborate with others and learn from each other. Mostly.. I want to encourage peace.. being at peace with oneself and peace with others!

I know that the best days are always ahead and the biggest lessons are from the experiences we encounter. Life was never expected to be easy! No one can change a person, but someone can be a person’s reason to change.

Seriously, focus on the good and see how your life changes!

Stay Rosy, Amber
