How does a mom explain how proud she is of her middle son, Landon>> who’s always marched to his own beat? Well, this mom is titling her blog entry, That’s What’s Up, using LandO’s lingo to elaborate!π
Honestly, Landon was the sweetest boy with the biggest heart! He has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, whether it be trading toys, a lemonade stand or selling sodas and candy out of his locker at school! He has so much grit and a lot of willpower to never quit!
Landon’s journey is one of a comeback story! As a teen he started down a path of resistance, some run ins with the law, being a bit scrappy. He’s chosen the road of recovery- living a clean and sober life! I AM SO PROUD I COULD CRY!
He is brave and determined! After a semester at Bethany College on a wrestling scholarship, he decided to go to barber school at Paul Mitchell in Wichita for a year. He moved to Lawrence, Ks and started a successful career. He’s been cutting hair for two years as a booth renter. He has never looked back. He’s been making a great living.
The opportunity came for him to move back to Salina, where his beautiful girlfriend of over a year lives too! I know she is a big part of why he came back, after saying he never would.
Most recently he has moved back to Salina, opened his own Barbershop!π I have no doubt Landon is going to do well. I wanted to let anyone looking for the flashiest fade know to look him up!
The back-and-forth weekends are a thing of the past. He’s focused and growing his new shop, Black Sheep Studio fast!
He bought out Jerry, a former barber of fifty-ish years. We are beyond proud, to have him carry on a legacy of cutting hair. The same work he’s grown up around~ with his Dad and I being hairdressers of twenty+ years!
If you are looking to “live your life in style”.. as Landon says. Look him up @ 913 West Crawford Salina, Ks! +1785-827-0664
