What will you be remembered for?

Will you be remembered for being understanding, happy, giving with an open heart~ not expecting anything in return?

Our youngest son, Ike had an emotional day yesterday and after visiting with him I think he understands his gifts even more. He was shaken by a few things and one was learning he had a friend with stage four stomach cancer. During our late night phone visit.. he shared how it’s always important to him to help the homeless, sick and less fortunate! Be still my heart!

It can take a toll on us when we feel the emotions of others so deeply! We must learn to shield ourselves.. definitely learn how to take care of ourselves!

I am happy that Ike is highly sensitive to others. I also know firsthand it’s a process to learn how to navigate life with these characteristics!!

Nonetheless, today is a new day. We got to see Ike for a brief moment before he headed to Hays to spend the day with his girl, Jenna.

My best advice is always to: DO WHAT YOU CAN LIVE WITH! When you live this way you prioritize what’s important!

Be remembered for loving big! Start by giving yourself the same grace you offer others!
