For me.. restorative calm looks like reminiscing about yester-years and dreaming about the future! ..All while being in the moment!
Having a cup of coffee while my doggie, Oscar is on my lap and Bonesy dog is close by resting… music softly playing.
Looking out the window at nature’s beauty, listening to the birds chirping and wind chimes chiming.
Today, a picture of five years worth of our kiddos school photos came up on my timeline. These were the BEST and also the hardest days of my life!
We lived in an adorable townhome with some crabby neighbors.๐ The grounds keeping and other amenities offered were so nice to have~ as we grew our business in Salina!
We struggled our asses off to make ends meet! Paying tuition for our kids to go to private school~ which I truly believe ended up being the best foundation for them.
It also was the best years of raising our kiddos! They were growing up, finding themselves, playing sports, etc.
Restorative calm can be a long walk, time to “just be”, it can be a planned time for nothing!
Take time to restore yourself! The to-do list will still be there! Prioritize what’s important! Celebrate each day, and celebrate even bigger when reaching your goals. Remembering, some of God’s greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. When life is rough.. you are learning and growing! We are never too old to improve!
Do your best and forget the rest!
