In the storm of life and literal storms in Kansas.. good people still exist! Bryan, owner of Legacy Roofing and his crew started the second roof replacement (in the two years we’ve lived here) on our home yesterday… this group of guys are hardworking and honest!

We had a painful and heartbreaking experience with a different company when the roof was being replaced in June of 2022.. we had only been here about six months and a huge storm set in, our whole roof was torn off and a crew was working on it. Mother Nature can be brutal and let’s just say, I often choose to keep those hard parts a bit of a secret! 🤫

I don’t believe that sharing the hardest parts during heightened emotion is beneficial. I have learned that the best answer is being civil.

I believe in karma and definitely believe in prayer! I must mention that I know the storm that took place last night was another big scare!

It seemed to be worse in town. This morning I realized our prayers had been answered.. there is so much destruction.. trees, power lines, etc. that are down!

Thankfully, the Legacy crew came back at 8ish pm when the storm had slowed.. to do anything possible to stop any water flow💦

Once again, a wild and unexpected storm came about.. although, doing our due diligence ahead this round has put my heart at ease and has given me a reason to give Legacy roofing a shoutout!

Word-of-mouth referrals are still the best way to find the most amazing people in this world! This kind of kindness can’t be measured!

I can tell Bryan is good to his team, even working alongside them.. if you know what I mean!👀

I am grateful for my client that referred them.. as I sit here to write this entry the crew is on our roof- they had already worked 7am to 7pm.. and came after the storm again! Nothing is stopping them.. not even an extreme long day in extreme hot and severe storming weather conditions!

It is apparent that Bryan treats his crew well. Through their actions you can tell!

Yes, I’ve saged and had our house blessed. No one other than the good Lord can handle things when life presents a big mess!

I enjoy the Spanish music playing outside and their culture. Their work ethic is one that has to be nurtured!

Look for the good people .. they do exist. These kind of people (against all odds) persist!
