If there is anything I have learned in my forty-two years of living .. it is that we must be resilient! You can be experiencing extremely difficult times and still seek and find joy! It is up to us individually how we respond! My advice to anyone is always, “do what you can live with!”
Sometimes a little space, quietly sitting during a morning thunderstorm⛈️ (both literally and figuratively).. like I am right now~ will help you process some of the difficulties and come up with a plan for whatever difficulties you’re facing. Also, for the past five years talk therapy/therapeutic counseling with Bruce Dimick has been life changing.. he’s the best and I am on a cancellation list to get in with him asap!
Remembering, we are all human and working to find and see the best in others.. has always helped me navigate this wild life as a human being!
Currently I am going through some difficulties.. per normal.. I am not going to share the depths and details while I am in it! I am just gonna say, family dynamics can be hard and I know we’ll get through it!
I also can say the current situation came way out of left field and was very unexpected! This is how life often works! Struggle comes out of nowhere.. suddenly and unexpectedly!
As I continue to write about facing adversity.. both large and small, I am reminded that allowing ourselves grace is always necessary!
I chose to use this platform ( my blog site) to tastefully, carefully and as openly as possible write about facing hardships! WE ALL HAVE THEM!
Social media oftentimes only allows the good parts to shine through. I must say, I’ve also seen some real ugliness come through too>> it breaks my heart because it shows who people really are. I want to believe everyone is more kind than not. Although, it may not be the case. My Granny Corz’s advice… if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say it at all.. has always stuck with me! In other words, there must be a nice way to say hard things!
I grew up listening to Paul Harvey with my grandparents. If you want to hear the Paul Harvey> the rest of the story.. you’ll have to set up a coffee date with me!😆
I am asking for prayers and good juju during this difficult time! The holidays are upon us and I want nothing more than for my family to be in a good spot! I am so excited for our new grandson that will be arriving in November!
In closing, I just want to say, you can still find and squeeze out joy during the most difficult times! Focus on the good, BE KIND, believe the best is yet to come!
If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today. -NHAT HANH
