THINGS ARE MADE TO HAPPEN

Things do not happen. Things are made to happen. – John F. Kennedy

Today, I am thankful for a girls trip to Boston~ that my sis and some of our dearest friends made happen! Having so much fun.. it makes our heads spin!

The JFK Library and Museum was amazing to witness! I can simply dream to be as classy and stunning as Jacqueline Kennedy.. she truly had finesse!

Girlfriends will make you laugh so hard you snort .. believe in you and be there when you hurt!

I feel like I must include one more favorite JFK quote, “We must never forget that art is not a form of propaganda; it is a form of truth.”

I love the angle of this photo our girl, Dawn took- “Namaste FuN Ambrosia” is the title I am giving the pose my sis, Nikki recommended while I stood on post down by the bay! Not gonna lie, I felt a little cray-cray!๐Ÿ˜œ

I am considering it a piece that encapsulates how I feel about our trip to Boston so far! Nothing about this experience has been subpar!

I just found myself so intrigued by the Kennedy’s.. even looking up the meaning behind favorite quotes in a book of quotations I purchased at the gift shop today. Next up is an excerpt from a paper Kennedy wrote about one of his favorite poets, Robert Frost. Robert Frost coupled poetry and power, they would say.

President John F. Kennedy: Remarks at Amherst College, October 26, 1963 – Transcript

When power leads men towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the areas of man’s concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses. For art establishes the basic human truth which must serve as the touchstone of our judgment.

We can only hope that the future of America can be as bright as when Kennedy was leading! Finding astounding integrity in the face of opposition, when everything seems overwhelming!

Writing is an art, presidency takes courage, art is a form of truth. Childhood is a muse.. let’s never lose our youth!

As Kennedy would say, let’s live by our words! We must learn to encourage!

This photo of me in the nameste pose reeks the thought.. the divine in me, bows down to the divine in you!
