Grateful for My Husband — Our Steady Leader at Home and at The Klassen Group

Today’s Thankful Thursday gratitude is all about my husband, Johnny — Realtor John, team leader of The Klassen Group, and the steady, grounded force behind both our family and our business.

I am so thankful for the way he leads — quietly, consistently, and with a kind of discipline that builds real change. Whether it’s managing our finances with intention or guiding decisions for our real estate team, he shows up every single day with clarity and purpose.

And I can’t forget this:

He deserves a trophy for rolling with so many of my wild ideas. From turning old garage doors into custom built-ins to naming houses, design visions, color drenching… he sees me, he trusts me — and most of the time, he ends up loving the vision right along with me. 😂💚

But this week, I’m especially thankful for the business decisions he’s made that have set The Klassen Group up for long-term success:

Recently, he made the leap and committed to a CRM — a pretty hefty monthly investment — not just for us, but for our clients, our systems, and the future of The Klassen Group.

🎬 Hiring Alexa — Before I Was Even a Realtor

Before I ever got my real estate license, Johnny put out an ad at Kansas Wesleyan looking for a video editor.

I thought he was a little crazy, honestly.

But then Alexa showed up — bright, talented, kind, and ready to learn.

She became our sweet filmer/editor, and she has stayed with us through every season. Having her on board long before I joined the real estate side says everything about Johnny’s ability to see where we were headed before the rest of us did.

📈 Bringing Taylor In As Our Marketing Director

More recently, the professor who originally recommended Alexa to us looked deeper into our work — and through that connection, we met Taylor, who is now our Marketing Director.

Taylor has stepped in with strategy, clarity, and vision — helping position The Klassen Group to become well-known, well-loved, and professionally polished in ways we had only dreamed about.

Realtor John has always believed in being a work in progress — to start, build, and refine as you go.

Me? I’ve often hesitated until everything feels “just right.”
