Writing it out feels a little cathartic, like I’m letting myself breathe again.
I finally felt like I could catch my breath today… just to have it taken away. Grief is such a strange companion — gentle one moment, sharp the next. It’s a reminder of how deeply we loved and how much someone meant to our story.
I’m thankful for the quiet moment to regroup, to sit with it, to honor her, and to let the waves come as they need to. Getting it out before her service… I don’t want to cry in front of everyone, but I also know these tears are love trying to find its way out. Writing helps me process, and today it felt like the only way to let a little light back in.

If you’re grieving someone too, I hope you know you’re not alone. There is no right timeline. No right way. Just one moment at a time.
Stay Rosy,
Amber 🤍
