When I Look At You

When I Look At You

When I look at you, Mr. John Klassen.. I see the future and the past!
When I look at you.. I see a love that lasts!

I see my dreams and remember the best is yet to come! I see the man I didn’t really know was my person when we first started dating- because we were so young!

I am thankful on this new year’s day to be heading home with YOU~ in a winter weather alert, a snow storm ..even with a headache. We didn’t even really “party” last night.. just know I will always be your partner~ livin’ our best life, no matter what’s at stake.

I can’t believe I overlooked writing my Thursday’s blog entry, yesterday. I even remembered last Thursday.. on Christmas day.

Nonetheless.. it’s onward and upward! Carrying on no matter what, is my buzz word!!

I am grateful you lead an amazing and memorable conversation at dinner last night. All about our future with our new endeavors and never losing sight!

When I look at you.. I realize I am one of the lucky ones, to be with a partner who’s grown with me. When I look at you.. I know our future is anything we want it to be!

Even when I am struggling with this shitty tension kind of headache. You are kind and make me laugh.. what can I say?!

Your response about me not feeling 100% is as sweet as can be. You said, “it’s because you must have been stressed about what everyone needs.”

I do know I wanted to make sure our kiddos, doggies and their friends had a safe and memorable new year’s holiday. I am feeling a bit bummed cause I didn’t get to see my sis cause the bad weather is setting in~ I really wanted to stay!

After all, my plans to head to Wichita were all about getting to see my sis on new year’s day. If life has taught me anything, it’s that sometimes we have to carry on anyway!

So here’s to another day.. for now, I am going to remember to stay rosy and gonna make plans (real soon) for another day of play!

In closing.. I am excited about our future endeavors and carrying on our mantra. In listening to your sis, Hel who practices chakra, on speaker phone on the way home.. I know this year is is bringing good manna!!

John, good fortune is a way of practice. I know our approach is a gonna last! ❤️🤟 Thank you> for being the best husband/life partner and father to our four beautiful adult-ish kids.

Stay Rosy, Amber
