Where does Inspiration come from?

Are you looking for inspiration? As today unfolds and I think about what we need more of in this world.. INSPIRATION is what comes to mind!

It is said that inspiration is spontaneous. I think inspiration comes from doing what you love and doing for the ones you love!

I am inspired to write and share in an effort to inspire others. Honestly, through my efforts I feel inspired myself. Maybe that’s where the spontaneity come in! It’s a feeling that’s sort of indescribable. Inspiration helps you to keep showing up and keep pursuing your dreams!

I think it is human nature for all of us to have some questions and doubts floating around in the back of our mind. Its important to keep those doubts and “what if’s” at bay!

We can’t let them get in the way of what we are pursuing! Life should be a pursuit of happiness for all of us!

With this post is a picture of myself on our recent spring break trip! I love this picture.. I am sporting a hat I purchased at Goodwill and some discount earrings! I love quality, who doesn’t?! I especially love it when I can get it for a steal of a deal! I never knew if vacations would/could be in the cards for myself and my family. We started out against some great odds as teen parents. What I know is I am so very proud of my husband, John and I’s accomplishments. I share with you to be relatable! We all can achieve our goals and inspirations if we believe in ourselves and continually work hard!

Sometimes as we climb the ladder of said success, we lose sight of what it feels like as we are in pursuit!

When in pursuit of a goal, we are determined! What we can’t forget is to celebrate each step of the way! Mostly, the world can be a better place if we stay humble!

To be humble is to be not value our own importance more than someone else’s! We should not feel entitled because we have worked to get where we are. Rather, we should remember it all can change in the blink of an eye!

We must live in the present day, even while striving for our goals! We need to lift each other up as we move forward in this world!

It is crazy to me how I am ever balancing between where I am currently in life and where I have come from!

Sometimes I reflect and think things were more simple when we were just starting out! In fact, I know that to be true! I think it’s important to continue to find pleasure in the simplicities in life, no matter our status or wealth. In the same breathe.. I believe it is more than necessary to continue to press forward and believe in ourselves!

I am a highly sensitive person (HSP) and also an empath.. equating approximately 20% of people. I am highly sensitive, meaning I have a lower threshold for over-stimulation. HSP’s have a love of nature, quiet and the desire to help others. However, being an empath means I take the experience of a highly sensitive person much further: we can sense subtle energy and actually absorb it from other people and different environments into our own bodies!

This characteristic/personality trait has been challenging at times. Now that I am an adult I realize that it can be one of my greatest strengths! I want to help others to put themselves in each other’s shoes. If we live in a world where we are inspired by each other, regardless of our backgrounds and achievements.. it can be a much more beautiful world!

I truly believe we can continually grow and achieve goals without becoming arrogant or believing we are more deserving than others!

Are you lacking inspiration? Think about what makes you happy and who you love the most! Then, start living your life in a way that extracts all the positive! Remembering.. working hard doesn’t have to mean~ not enjoying life! If you are working hard and your value system is in line, it allows you to have inspiration and find a way to achieve experiences in a way that you may not have been before! Keep on keepin’ on!

Stay Rosy, Amber
