If you knew tomorrow wasn’t coming..

If you knew tomorrow wasn’t coming.. would you change the way you live today?

Would you be in the moment more? Would you make the best of whatever was at hand!

Would you extract happiness from all the common and believe the best in others?

If you knew tomorrow wasn’t coming .. could you be happy with how you lived today?

I must say, at this very moment I am basking in happiness.. as I just got home from an overnight getaway with my husband, Johnny~ in celebration of our 21 year wedding anniversary!

Did every part go perfect and just as planned? Of course not. Although, at this stage we both can shift gears pretty readily! When one of us gets a bit flustered or not feeling 100%.. we can usually help pull each other out of the funk!

It has taken years of practice, along with some talk therapy/working with professionals to get good at extracting happiness from common things! We must remember we are on the same team with each other’s best interest always at heart!

If tomorrow never comes.. may the ones I love know they are my people and they make me the happiest! May you know that even when I am feeling defeated, I close my eyes at night knowing I gave it my all and I am thankful for whatever lies ahead. The good and the bad have shaped me into the person I am today!

I refuse to be sad for what didn’t go right! Instead, I am happy for the lessons I’ve learned and for not giving up the fight!!

I am happy to have the ones I love and are on my court. I am happy for the relationships that are unfolding.

I am excited for what may be and for the adventure that I am on.

Even what is considered small scale should be cherished! I try to remember to embrace each bite and taste it like it’s the first. I am doing my best to always see with new eyes. I am embracing all the beauty around me, knowing that it can change in the blink of an eye.

I am overjoyed for the days I have made new memories and for the parts that are considered normal. Normal is a blessing too!

Contentment and growth are partners, not enemies! I am content and still growing! I don’t think I will ever be satisfied~ for I am always raising the bar.

What I do know is that I am enjoying the ride!

I am okay.

I am not alone.

I am moving forward!

As if tomorrow wasn’t coming.. live for today!!

Stay rosy, Amber
