Live meaningfully!

Happiness is “living life meaningfully by enjoying it!” As crazy as it sounds.. gardening helps me to live meaningfully. Our veggie plants and flowers depend on me to give them a drink. I am constantly learning as I experiment with my approach, growing in our challenging Kansas weather conditions. This year’s container gardening (inspired by my mom) has taught me a lot! I am thrilled at the carrot I harvested today!πŸ₯•πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ

Some people are more happy than others and when asked, they can’t explain it! Like intelligence, health, wealth we are all different! Happiness isn’t a state of uninterrupted pleasantness. Happiness is a character state and it is being satisfied with life.

I have found that by focusing on being happy I have better self esteem, self confidence, higher levels of optimism and hopefulness. I have realized I do have a network of amazing people in my life!

We do not have to be captives of our genetics. Changing how we handle ourselves takes focus, boundaries, self awareness and practice!

I have always been able to focus on the good. I also find myself realizing when I am in a hard situation there is always someone going through even more difficult things. I am a survivor of challenging times.. And so are you!! So remember each day is a new start to focus on the good.

Everyone deserves happiness. I want a good life for everyone. We are all different and it would be boring if we were all the same. Although, I can’t imagine life being any less meaningful by choosing happiness! It’s actually the opposite, in my opinion! You can soul search, plan for the future, grow as a person, struggle.. all while living a happy and meaningful life simultaneously!

I am a walking testament that you can come from a lot of odds against you and build the most beautiful life.

1) Live in the present.. the best advice from my Gram, Louise.

2) Believe that these are the best days.. and truly make the best of your current time!

3) Help others! You will never regret helping others and you most likely learn a lot about yourself in the process!

It’s amazing how something as simple as tending to plants can bring so much joy and satisfaction. My question for you is, what tips do you have for someone who wants to start their own container gardening journey? This blog post is so inspiring and uplifting!
