There are days that feel long.
And then⦠I walk in to him.
Our sweet grandson, Jack š¤
Just over 15 months old and already so full of personality, curiosity, and that irresistible spark that lights up a room the second heās in it.
Johnny-Pops captured this photo of us, and I just keep coming back to it. Thereās something about holding him close that makes everything else quiet down. Like the world softens for a minute.
Jack is always on the goātruly, there is no slowing this little cowboy down š
Heās discovered the dog door⦠and letās just say, he fully understands how it works. In and out, in and outāright alongside the doggies like itās his own personal adventure course.
Heās especially fascinated with Oscarās short tail š¤
And if thereās food involved? Oh, heās sharing it. Whether Bones and Oscar were invited or not š¾
Itās messy. Itās funny. Itās real life.
And I wouldnāt trade it for anything.
Thereās something so special about this seasonāwatching him grow, learn, explore⦠and getting to be part of it.
Being his Lolli is one of the greatest joys of my life.
Yesterday, I wasnāt feeling 100% when I got off work⦠a little worn down and ready to just be home.
But coming home to Cowboy Jack made the whole day worth it.
That kind of love?
It resets everything.
Stay rosy,
Amber š¤š¤
