I’m enjoying the quiet while I wait for Johnny to get home…watching a couple of tiny visitors stop by for supper.

Keeping it lighthearted today! Sometimes that’s all the words you can say. 🤍

A chickadee came dressed in black,
With snowy cheeks so bright…
He grabbed a seed and looked at me,
Then hurried out of sight.

Next came a fluffy sparrow,
Who settled in to dine…
Apparently my bird feeder
Is the supper spot at five. 🤪

No reservations needed,
No bill when meals are through…
Just tiny evening visitors
Enjoying my backyard view.

So come again, sweet birdies—
There’s always room for two…
You brought a little happy
To my evening here with you.
